The film adaptation of Broadway's hit musical, Bollywood Dreams is a tale of love, heartbreak and finding the key to happiness. Fusing semi classical, classical, folk, item girl, hip-hop, and Irish dance styles, this masterpiece also represents the multifaceted nature of Bollywood today.

This breakthrough foreign film follows the lives of two women from distinct villages in West Africa and India as they are forced to settle their differences to solve a mutual crisis: the ongoing drought in their respective countries. Using dance as the sole way to cross these cultural boundaries, they find that they can only try to end this crisis where deserts meet.
